With over 6,000 hours of specialized training and certifications, a degree in Construction Management, and two decades of hands-on experience, I’m not just another business coach — I’m someone who understands the trades because I come from the trades. I’ve spent years as a skilled union journeyman carpenter, running crews for some of the biggest names in construction across the United States. I know firsthand what it takes to transition from a craftsperson's mindset to that of a business owner and entrepreneur.
In 2011, I founded my contracting firm, High Tech Pacific Builders, LLC, and grew it into a seven-figure business that continues to hold a strong position in the Greater Seattle market. Along the way, I gained extensive experience in business management, marketing, and business development, learning exactly what it takes to start, scale, and sustain a successful construction company.
So, how did I become a coach? It happened organically. Over eight years ago, I noticed people — former workmates, subcontractors, employees, and other contractors in my network — kept coming to me with questions: What makes your business run so well? How are you landing the best jobs and staying profitable? How do you grow without the constant stress of being in the field every day? They were drawn to the systems I built and the results I achieved, and I realized I could make a real impact by sharing what I’ve learned.
Today, my business is thriving, but I didn’t get here alone — and that’s what drives me. Early in my career, I struggled to find mentors who could guide me through the challenges of building a construction business. I had to figure things out the hard way, through trial and error, and I know how isolating and frustrating that can be. That’s why I’m so passionate about giving back to the hardworking contractors who are walking the same path I did.
